Funded by the Hall of Fame dinner and other gifts, over 20 grants a year are provided by the Foundation to Affton teachers. These grants, in amounts of up to $1000 each, enrich the curriculum with such activities as engagements of best-selling authors, field trips to college campuses for high-achieving seniors, art equipment, Advanced Placement course training, digital interactive lessons, early writing and literacy programs, and resources for struggling and dual-language readers.
